Book Launch – How To Be Alone

Join us Sunday at the Confederation Centre Public Library for the launch of Tanya Davis’ “How to be Alone.”
How to Be Alone is a spoken word poem with illustrations by Andrea Dorfman, an Emmy Award-nominated animator and filmmaker.The poem began life as a video also filmed by Dorfman. About a year after making the video, it was uploaded onto YouTube where it soon became a phenomenon which now has over six million views from all over the world. How to Be Alone encourages us to recognize and embrace the possibilities of being alone—and reminds us of a universe of joy, peace, and discovery waiting to unfold.
